Within and Without
This site is about the exploration of the human condition and the four aspects that
underlie all human experience: Physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual.
The name "Justinthyme" has a few meanings. The most evident is "just in time" as "in the nick of time." Another reading for "just in time" is "justice now". The third reading evokes the golden rule with "Just in thy me", suggesting fairness in relating to others, the Golden Rule.
The four qualities mentioned above are the elements of all ideation and experience. Just as four amino acids (adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine) make up the basis for all DNA, these four aspects combined represent every thought, word, or idea.
in addition, each aspect has its ulitmate level, or enlightenment if you will. We're all familiar with the spiritual form of enlightenment which is experienced as a Oneness with the Divine, but enlightenment is not simply reserved for the realm of the spiritual - not all people are spiritual yet they too can reach an apex in the aspect they hold most dear. For emotion, that pinnacle is love; no doubt you've heard "love is all you need." For the many people that are focused on emotion, love is the ultimate achievement. For the intellect it's objectivity as the goal of the intellectual process (as described by the scientific method) is to remove one's own bias or subjectivity from analyis of observations. Finally the greatest achievement for the physical is health. Whether the physical is one's body, one's bank account, one's crops, or one's posessions ... their health is the measure of their value.
